it's obvious that this journal has evolved into more words and pics than design! almost a jazzed up photo album...  oh well. i kinda like the idea of each of my journals being completely different anyway. i have a habit of overkilling (like the tape transfers in this journal) and anymore, i find myself playing more than creating *haha!!

this layout is obviously focused on my girlfriends and what they mean to me. the journaling i put underneath this pic is very real 'feminine with an edge'!! seriously a true statement.

the pic is framed with acrylic that i moved around with my finger to give   it a random appearance. the tags stapled-coming off the side of the page are from vic. secret and just add to the focus here. this is a page-1/2. the top portion turns over to expose the complete page underneath where most of my  journaling is. the background is the same acrylic that i used to frame the pic. on the cover page. on the library pocket i used a mask and spray paint. after the paint was dry, i put the mask back down and rubbed copper metallic rub ons over it. i'm into copper at the moment and it just gives this a little 'pop'.

it's been amazingly cold and no snow in kc this weekend. a few flakes on saturday but nothing spectacular. damn. it was a great weekend to lay up, watch movies and eat good munchies. which i did with NO regrets. *ha.
