more journal stuff
so this is what i have been working on the past week.5! i changed up and TOOK an instructional for a chage. and let me tell you... i loved it! one of my stores, Stamper's,Ink. in Shawnee,Ks. had the fab Beverly Seymour come do instructionals for the weekend. Bev did a book for Design Originals titled Walnut Ink, and has her own line of rubber stamps; BLine Rubber Stamps. I took this altered heart book class from her. it was a 4 hour class that ended up being 5, we had so much fun. I learned about this funky tool that punches holes in metals; coins. so of course, in mid-class i ran to harbor freight to purchase it! POSSIBILITIES -yep, endless! this journal, is about complete. i just have to do a few more things to the inside, however it's the first journal that i have actually started and completed. good feeling. i learned to do the coins and beading along the edging of the pages from Bev's instructional -it just adds to my passion of the "outside" visual of the journal. and, journals are theraputic. fact. The journal front is tight mesh wire, and the M was stamped with a combination of bleach and white acrylic. *enjoy some of my fav pages. S
*some of this was inspired by Lynne Perrella's Altered Journal book, and the fab artists' who contributed.
